Materials to print
School textbooks move to the new alphabet by 2031 — the only date the law names. This page is for the teacher, the parent and the pupil: print it and use it.
These materials are unofficial
The new edition of the orthography rules is not published yet. These are prepared from the text of the law, and every sheet carries a version date. We will update them when the official rules appear.

Keycap stickers
Print on self-adhesive A4, cut and stick them on. One sheet carries two sizes: 18 mm for a laptop, 19 mm for a full-size keyboard. Under each sticker is the key it goes on.
Cut along the marks. Two rows of each size: one to use, one spare.
A poster for the classroom
The whole alphabet on one sheet: 28 letters, the tutuq belgisi, and the four changes along the bottom. The letters that changed are marked.
Some schools will not hang branded material. A clean sheet beats no sheet — the small line at the foot stays, as the source.
Cards to cut out
Eight cards on an A4 sheet: a letter on one side, a word starting with it on the other. The second set is the old and new spelling of a word, for a game in pairs.
Print double-sided, flipping on the long edge — then the back lands where it should.
Handwriting sheets
Letters in dotted outline to trace, then room to write. Take a ready set or type your own words: this week's vocabulary, the names of the children in the class, anything.
There are no stroke-direction arrows: a font gives the outline of a letter, not the order of its strokes. For a first-grade sheet, an approximate arrow is worse than none.
