iPhone and iPad
Text replacement works today; the app comes later
While the app is being built: text replacement
iOS has this built in. It takes five minutes, needs no third-party app, and for everyday messaging it is enough.
- Settings → General → Keyboard → Text Replacement → “+”.
- For each pair: the new letter in “Phrase”, the two-letter combination in “Shortcut”.
- The replacement fires when you press space.
| oo | ö |
| gg | ğ |
| ss | ş |
| cc | ç |
| tt | ʼ |
| OO | Ö |
| GG | Ğ |
| SS | Ş |
| CC | Ç |
Replacements sync with a Mac over iCloud, so it is easier to enter them once on the computer rather than typing them on the phone.
In Uzbek, oo, gg, ss and cc hardly ever occur inside a word, so false positives are unlikely. If you also write in English, though, the replacement will fire in words like too, see and all — press ⌫ right after it happens and it undoes itself.

The file will be ready shortly
The keyboards ship in the next phase of the project. In the meantime you can convert your text here and copy it.
Installation
- Install the app from the App Store.
- Open Settings → General → Keyboard → Keyboards.
- Tap “Add New Keyboard” and pick ours from the list.
- Switch with the globe key while typing.
Full Access is never requested and is not needed. That means the keyboard physically cannot see what you type, let alone send it anywhere.
Check
Type in the field below — if all four letters appear, you are set.
Quick routes
The fallback that works on any system: copy the letter you need from here. Tap it and it is on your clipboard.
Without installing a keyboard
If you would rather not install anything — convert your text here and copy it. It takes a few seconds and works the same on a phone.
